I just want a TV show or movie to watch that's very aesthetically gothic ( either the traditional Bronte kind or gothic Americana ) but isn't super jump scare horror-y. Like dread more than horror. Any ideas?

Have you seen "How to Stop a Recurring Dream" with Ruby Barker? I feel like people who think the Sharma sisters have a dysfunctional relationship should watch that movie because WOW 👀

I think I want to get into watching more classic hollywood...the problem is many movies have sexist and/or racist elements of course, so I'd rather avoid the worst offenders... there's something about the style of old films tho, so if anyone has particular recommendations?
