Very beautiful castle from @bentengistanapuri - Reichsburg Cochem, located on a hilltop, 100 metres above the town with the same name along the Moselle river in Germany. The Reichsburg was first built around 1100, but was destroyed by the French Army in 1689. Between 1874-1877, the Reichsburg was rebuilt by Louis Fréderic Jacques Ravené (1823-1879), who purchased the existing ruin for a symbolic amount of 300 goldmarks.
