Watcher!Pixlriffs Headcannon Because I Can

Ok so after that sus Grian line from the crossover finale I've had Watcher!Pix rotating in my head and I want to get it out into the world!

So when Pix was a young watcher he was assigned to watch Hermitcraft, each week he would write up a report on the goings-on in the server to submit to his higher-ups. As time went on Pix came to love watching the server and enjoyed writing the reports, even if most watchers considered it to be nothing more than boring paperwork.

Eventually, due to some problems and disagreements, he had with the watchers as a whole he left them to go and live as a player, following the new-world motions he had watched the Hermits go through time and time again.

Eventually, he made his way into the general Minecraft world and, disguised as a simple player, made many friends as he learned more about the players. One of the things he learned was of the general fascination with large, private servers many players held and he quickly discovered Hermitcraft was one of them.

After making some help from some of his new player friends Pix once again started to watch the Hermits and crafting reports on their activity, however, this time instead of it simply going to the watcher archives, his reports where published to the general public.

Even while in Empires SMP Pix still took the time to watch the Hermits and write up his weekly report.

When the Hermits entered Empires Pix was shocked when he found out they knew about his watching them but quickly realized that they had simply heard of his weekly reports. While interacting Pix was grateful that the Hermits never questioned how he knew so much about them. Though he could never be certain, a comment from Grian as he approached the rift to return home made him wonder if the knew what he was all along.

That's my rambling for now, pretty much all I got lol. If you have any questions send them my way and I'll try to answer them.

So…. I wasn’t sure if I should post this during the polls or not, but here’s a Watcher!Pixlriffs I drew recently!

Now, I don’t really know too much about watcher lore and season 1 empires, but I’ve been told that in a lot of Watcher!Grian AUs, Grian vanishes from Evo after his 1v1 dragon fight and gets turned into a watcher. Now, do you know who else vanishes from their server mysteriously and is associated with watchers???

That’s why he’s outfit and wings are slightly based off of some Copper King/Phantom Assassin aspects! This might become a full blown au, we’ll see. :)

said it before i think but hermitcraft recap crew as watchers is one of my favourite headcanons. like typically people think of evil watchers and runaway/rebel watchers like grian, who reject their powers completely. HOWEVER! this is wrong, theres a secret third type! the recap crew do their jobs of watching hermitcraft, and the other watchers kind of leave them alone. they don't particularly approve of the other groups methods, but they're not breaking any rules so they leave them alone. this is also part of the reason grian is so safe on hermitcraft, because watchers dont think to look there as they assume the recap crew has it covered. if only they bothered to actually watch the show 😔

mcyteu pix is a watcher and he uses and abuses his time warping abilities, less so now but like full time ruling pixandria AND watching hermitcraft all the time? bro was literally all over the place. ive seen a few fics and aus that handle the watchers control over time really well but tbh it confuses my brain a bit lol. you get the general ideaa
