Happy Monday! This past week I ate all the junk food. Pizza, ranch, soda, tequila, wine, pasta, cheesecake, ice cream. 🥮🍦🥩🥓🥞🍫🍷🍾🍸🥃 In the past, I would give up and hate myself for allowing myself to just give in to eating so much junk food. I would feel guilty eating while I was hanging out with my friends. I would start calculating in my head how many calories I’d gone over and how much I had to exercise to play catch up. I had an all or nothing approach instead of focusing on all the progress I had already made. Think about this. I was on track for 12 weeks, I fall off for 1 week and all of a sudden I feel guilty because I fell off. I didn’t even look at the past 12 weeks and how good I have been. That’s freaking crazy! I wouldn’t tell a loved ones half the things I told myself for being consistent for 12 weeks and falling off 1 week! This is the all or nothing mentality that needs to change. We are so programmed to just pay attention to the negative. When this isn’t true. You can change and choose what you want to do. You can adjust based on your priority at the moment. You can enjoy pizza without feeling guilty. It’s possible but it starts with the shift in your mind. Have you ever felt guilty for eating junk food? That’s a belief that was programmed into you based off media, your environment, your family and it’s not easy to change. That’s why having a coach, to guide you and shift your mindset is critical. Especially now. If I set some time in to talk for 15 mins, would you open to chatting?
