If they do a new avatar series they should vilify Avatar Korra for her decision.

Imagine the shows premise starts 15 to 20 years after Korra, the main protagonists are a couple instead of a gang of three like usual.

The backstory would go like this “Unveil the Truth”

A mysterious girl wonders through a back water earth kingdom town.

She is being chased by a group of hunters and in her bid to escape them meets a boy he hides her confused on why she’s being chased.

All she does is thank him called him stupid and continues on her way. He asks her where she’s going and she says it’s safer if he forgot all about her.

He later spots her getting caught by the hunters and instead of helping decides to watch as she is capable of dodging them with flexibility and ease. Which no ordinary person is capable of then. The big bad shows up.

The lead hunter corners her he recounts his past scars hunting her kind. How he took great pleasure hunting her mother and family. The girl snaps unleashing her air bending at the hunters but they easily dodge her. The boy sees the lead hunter take out his knife.

He has to make a choice. Aiding an air bender means he’s as good as hunted. He tries to ignore it, but a face dashed before his eyes of a girl saving him. The boy makes his choice.

He unleashes earth bending catching everyone by surprise and breaking her out, trapping her captors. They escape capture. The girl reveals she’s an air bender, Jinora’s daughter. She’s going to republic city, before her mother sent her gave her one last parting words “I’ve seen it, you’ll find the key. Opening the portal again and finding the avatar.”

The two have no choice they’re hunted. They’re only hope is to find the key to open the portals and find the avatar.

First episode ends.

You’d have questions like “Why are the portals closed?” “Why are air benders hunted?” “What happened to Korra?” “Is Jinora Dead?” “Who or what is the key?”

This that shit that keeps you watching and wondering what is happening.

Whilst I'm just here thinking about how awesome it would be if I could water bend. Of course I would control all of the earth's fresh water and become crazy with power until I finally lose all sense of reality and fall to my (well deserved) death..
