Frank Langdon would be a water bender, and nothing can change my mind.
ATLA: Water bending hot take ? Maybe room temp take.
If you can blood bend then you can sweat bend, you can piss bend, and if the shit is liquid enough you can shit bend. There are so many ways to make people move against their will WITHOUT bloodbending. The human body is composed of 70% water. USE IT. USE WATER (or liquid) FROM ANY HUMAN PART. HELLO ??????? START BENDING THE ACID IN PEOPLES STOMACH. BEND THAT BRAIN JUICE. BEND THAT SNOT. BEND THAT SALIVA. YOU CAN BEND SO MUCH.
Might sound wack at first but IT CAN COME IN HANDY IN STRESSFUL OR URGENT SITUATIONS WHERE YOU'RE BACKED IN A CORNER WITH NO WATER. (This is shade @ Katara in that one avatar movie like "I'm out of water" GIRL BEND THEIR PISS ???? BEND THEIR SWEAT ? YOU DONT WANNA BLOODBEND THERE ARE WAYS AROUND THAT. BE FR.)
No one thought of that ? If you can take the wind out of someone's body you can take everything out of someone's body.
Shit I'm gonna come up w a water bender that can do all of this.
I don’t have my TikTok rn so I’m posting my art on here until I have it again😼 believe it or not I 100% drew the water she’s bending I swear!!
finished season 1 of atla
i wanna quickly ramble about the subtle differences in body movements benders use depending on the type(guess which one is my fav 🤭)(im a new fan dont bully me 😭);
water benders flow with the water, very fluid movements. theres a base to their movement but its allowed to move and sway in their body like water does. a solid base that can be manipulated nearly anyway it needs to be. theirs a subtle sense of stability in the movement, though not as noticeable as earth benders
air benders have the least tension in ther bodies. allowing themselves to feel the air is surrounds the body. but unlike water, its more expressive and theirs less resistance. with water you feel and move the water. but air you feel and move it, but the air also moves you. air benders body have a lively freedom to it.
earth benders have strong and stable movements. its calculated strength, with force behind everymove. the earth is their base and they both rely on it and are able to manipulate it. they rely on the earth for stability and it works in their favour. their more planted and stability and have slower, yet stronger movements
fire benders are energized, in a relentless way. it can become overwhelming and each movement is more violent and intense. like heat rising it looks less the bender actually yields the fire in their control, and is just manipulating it to attack their enemy and not themselves. its purely a weapon; they can only tame it and use it against others.
yeah this is my silly lil ramble,,, idk im gonna start watching s2 now ^^
Now I'm not a microbiologist and anyone from science Tumblr feel free to correct me but if the possibility of blood bending in avatar the last Airbender is explored then would it be possible to manipulate the DNA within cells assuming you have knowledge of DNA. I don't think you'd be able to directly bend DNA, but you could definitely manipulate the fluid that surrounds it in cells much like blood bending manipulates the water in blood cells. So I think you could theoretically target the DNA of a cell just as much as you can move the cell using the fluid inside.
