If Writing A Story Of A Shower Without Water Makes You Laugh, Would You Mind?

I decided to take a shower, so I went to my bathroom. I wouldn’t want to wake up my one-year-old. I said to myself,’’ finally I made it.’’
If you have little ones you can relate to my situation. I turn on my shower, and start rubbing soap all over my body with music playing inside me.
But a few seconds later I realized that there was not even a single drop pouring out of my shower. Suddenly, I got all those thoughts of getting late to work. I tried to convince myself that everything is fine. All I need is some patience. Darling, not to worry……..
Nothing worked ,not even the positive affirmations.
I was standing in my bath with soap all over me and on some parts of my skin, it started drying itself.
I asked myself, "what option do I have?” and the answer was…..
The only thing that I don’t want to try .....is to call this person to help me out from this terrible situation.
In such situations, I guess this is the only option that we usually have.
Thus, mommy screams like anything
And wakes everyone in the house, even the little one. Until my husband tapped me several times and told me to calm down. He offered me a glass of water. This is when I felt that it was a dream. A bad dream. Oh! So it was a nightmare, we have our Water”, I said holding my glass.
HOWEVER,this is not the end to my worry
What I ask myself every single day
How long do we get access to this water? With a bulletin telling every other day that water is drying.
Am I lying to myself that this will never happen?
Every single time I drink water from a glass or a bottle,
I remind myself not to throw even a single drop of water in the kitchen sink.
How do we use our water supply?
We sometimes buy bottled water whenever we are traveling but we rely on tap water when we are home.
Water use for household purposes:
washing clothes, cooking food, taking showers, and flushing our toilets
Also, we utilize it for cleaning the kitchen, mopping the floor, watering our garden, and washing our cars.
Do you know how much water we consume on these activities per day?
800–1000 gallons per day per person
And we only have .3% of water for human use.
Tap water has dried up in many parts of South Africa and has become the first country with Zero Water. So, how they are managing things.
they take bath in the shower while standing in a small tub and then reuse it
They do not even flush their toilets all the time
Yes, they do flush when someone poops in the pot.
We have the responsibility
If you have not faced something like this yet,
You are lucky like me, but what about our future generations?
And it is our responsibility to leave a better place for them, not worse of course.

My Request — Use your bucket this time
I request whosoever reading this article to take a pledge not to waste our water at all.
So, next time, you go to the bathroom to shower, fill a bucket of water and take your bath. If any part of the water is left, keep it safe for the next person or you can also use this water for your plants.
If you do not have water in your shower, use your bucket next time.
