Waterbender Lance cause reasons
Voltron: Avatar the Last Airbender/Legend of Korra AU
Avatar! Lance
Corrupted! Lance
Oblivious! Lance
Avatar Lance of the Southern Water Tribe was taken away from his family at the age of four (4) by the Fire Nation (Galra Empire). He had already understood the basics of Water, Earth, and Fire at this point and was about to learn the basics of Air when the Fire Nation attacked his village. All children were separated from their families, and one at a time, children younger than six (6) were taken into a separate room with Sages (Druids) in them. There they choose toys to play with, none of which choose objects of the Avatar, until Lance. He was one of the last children to go, as his family did everything to keep him hidden from the Fire Nation. Upon choosing the four objects that represented the four elements, the Druids asked him to perform some bending. There he showed them water wall, earth column, and fire circle. From then on, Lance was taken from his family.
In order to convince him to go to the Fire Nation, the Druids threatened his family and village with his life, if they did not convince him to go with them. In the end, the village complied with the Fire Nation and convinced Lance that if he went with them, he would learn more techniques and learn the element of Air. Excited, Lance went with the firebenders and to the Fire Nation Capital where he was introduced to the witch Haggar. There he was able to learn of Air, and many more techniques, but while he thought the techniques that he was learning were normal, but it was quite the opposite. While he was taught pacifistic techniques, Haggar introduced him to Bloodbending and Plantbending; Lavabending and Seismic sense; Lightningbending; and Hypersensitivity and Spiritual projection.
Lance is able to meet his family twice every year, once in the Winter months and once in the Summer months. Just like the Olkari, the Southern Water Tribe is being threatened with the life of one of their own, however, unlike the Olkari, they know that Lance is being treated well, but in order to keep that going, they must give their services to the Fire Nation. They must heal injured soldiers, be the first line of defense when the moon is up, and never fight against the Fire Nation. If not, face the destruction of their people and the death of an innocent life that was stolen from them.
Lance is oblivious to any bad doings of the Fire Nation, he was told by Haggar that they were in the right, the other nations just decided to turn against them for no apparent reason. Lance believing this, does anything and everything that Fire Lord Zarkon commands of him.
Since the age of four, Lance has been corrupted by the Fire Nation, constantly told that he has to be perfect, that he must bring peace upon the nations by using force. If a nation does not comply with the Fire Nation, Lance has every right to use force if necessary. The Druids keep him from the temples, and away from anything that could possibly trigger his Avatar state, they believe it to be the only thing that can take him away from them and open his eyes to the truth that they kept from him.

As fate would have it-Lance Ship Week Day 1
Here it is, a week celebrating Lance ships, and I’m doing the only 3 I have. Yeah, he’s a boy who needs to be loved, but I’ve only got 3 ships for him, sorry. Anyway, this one is a sequel to my first day of Klance week, because I saw the prompt and just had to, so I would suggest you go read that first. Elements/Pride
Keith watched as graceful hands controlled water to dance around its controller. He had never seen Lance use his waterbending, not even during a full moon. And it was almost the last thing he saw the night before.
Keith was one of the illegitimate sons of the Fire Lord, not like he enjoyed it. He and his half-brother Shiro would spend most of their time in Ba Sing Se to avoid their father. Keith wasn’t expecting to meet Lance. As far as he knew, Lance was working as a servant for a woman named Lady Song in the Upper Ring of Ba Sing Se. He was a waterbender from the northern water tribe and Keith had fallen completely in love with him. Keith had to tell him that in a letter because his darling father decided to pull him and Shiro from Ba Sing Se for some event Keith could care less about. He didn’t realise that people would have taken the chance to try and eliminate them.
Part 3 & 4 of an old Arranged Marriage / Avatar the last Airbender Voltron Au I was sketching up
Hi! I love all your Shance fics! If it's not too late, could you do a Last Airbender AU where Lance is a Northern Waterbender and Shiro is trying to make a betrothal necklace for him?
Thank you so much! Also I love this prompt! There is very little Lance actually in the fic…but you’ll see why. Also not in the ask, but I made Lance the Avatar, because I wanted to and I love that AU. Oh and Shiro is an airbender, because again, I love that idea.
You can also read it here on AO3

Shiro didn’t think it would be so hard to ask Lance to marry him.
Okay, we’ll he pictured it being hard, but because of stuff that was to do with general nerves about find the right place and the right words. Maybe a little fear of rejection. Not that he thought Lance would ever really tell him ‘no’, but still . Like normal people have all the time, just maybe ten times more…because well Lance is Lance, and amazing.
And totally also the Avatar .
