Watercolouring class!
I'm on the Loud Side of the table where there's one person who talks as soon as she enters the room and starts convos and comments on Everything and almost has no brain to mouth filter. It just comes out. She's sitting next to the American. Yeah. 😂 I'm on the other side of the American but they're fun convos, haha.
I'm the only person who brought a cup to draw, but I also didn't do any practice at home so. 😅
One poor person's paints haven't dried into the pan yet. So he put his brush in to get some more paint, then went to get more water. Except his paint pan came along for the ride and went plop right into his water. 😭
I mean. Yes. The paint will activate super fast but. 😭
I don't think I've really done dry glazing in my paintings. Normally when I'm adding shadows it's a darker version of what I'm painting on, rather than making mixing a new colour with a new layer so that was interesting.
I forgot how much watercolour is 'OKAY. YOU'RE ON A TIMER. GOTTA DO THE THING YOU WANT BEFORE THE PAINT DRIES AT THE WRONG CONSISTENCY AND THEN IT WON'T WORK. And now you have to wait for it all to dry completely before you can continue again.'
Got home to find out my paints weren't as dry as I thought they were and leaked out. Not by a lot but. Good to try and check next time 😂
