Being a French in the UK, you get a lot of comments involving garlic (when tbh we don’t eat that much of it). Anyway it keeps Vampires away and Halloween is soon so there ya go.

This pun required some research to be honest. Apparently the Greek name for fennel is “marathon” or “marathos” and the place where the battle of Marathon happened means “a plain with fennels” Quite a cultural one today. I love fennels. They are superb and they look so neatly tucked in their layers. Also apparently they are from the same family as carrots! 🤓
