Well, after that very long common route, this route seemed rather short. His route started at chapter 9 and went to chapter 13 and then had the ending. Whoever gave you a letter at the end of chapter 8 is whose route you are going on into this chapter. [chapter 8 is kind of a preview to whose route you are entering at chapter 9]
This routes case is the Jack the Ripper case.
Watson is a very friendly guy, he's cheerful, he is Holmes roommate and best friend. He also knew Emily as a child but she doesn't remember him when they first meet. He always yells at Holmes for mean things he says to Emily.
He also has an inferiority complex and emos quite a bit during this route. At one point I was ready to slap him silly for things he did. I guess his good ending made up for it though because it was really sweet.
