NORMAL WORK STRESSED ARTHUR MY BELOVED PLEASE he and Parker are in the midst of pulling an allnighter with nothing but black tea and hope to get them through. Arthur gets all hunched back when he's stressed, and Parker knows just the pressure point in his neck to get him to relax. if he's feeling generous (or maybe after they've solved the case) he adds a bourbon cream to his tea instead of milk. Arthur has broken too many pencils to count, Parker has a graveyard of them because he swears they're still perfectly good pencils AH i just need them please
scooching their chairs so their shoulders are almost touching so they can look over a single document together... taking turns getting up to refill both their drinks without needing to ask... parker waking up in the morning realizing arthur lost track of time and worked through the night and shooing him off to bed... maybe he did actually figure something out and parker's like "yeah, you did your part, let me take over now" and goes out to shake someone down about it... going out to the bar/diner to celebrate afterwards and making each other laugh about the annoying parts of the case... i just wanna see them on a normal day. sobs.
