I must confess I've written what others described as "an essay's worth" long comments before. Yes, commentS, as in multiple. There's this fic that I really like and it activated the Must Ramble Now neurons lol. Anyway, I basically did analysis in the comments. Like I went over the character limit multiple times (three to four different parts of my analysis; same thread) bc I wouldn't shut up. Another of my comments apparently was longer than the actual chapter. And that really long thread of analysis I mentioned is um. unfinished.

ANYWAY: just wanted to share this. I know it's hard as a writer to stay motivated when you don't get much feedback (I say from experience), so I'm hoping this gives some hope for everyone. There will be someone, someday, that will read your fic and go on long rants about it. I've had a long comment on of my fics before and I couldn't stop smiling for the next few weeks.

i would be so happy if someone did a multiple-comments-long analysis on one of my fics (i dont really write fics that warrant that sort of analysis, but still, would be nice). i understand that the majority people dont have the energy to leave those kinds of comments, so when people do, it's truly special

I feel like it's an AU in which Yunho and Wooyoung are brothers + Jongho and Wooyoung are close friends. they spend a lot of time together, especially in the summer and usually at the Jung household. Yunho has always had a little crush on Jongho, and Jongho feels the same but has a much better poker face.

It's been a few years of this, a lot of catching each other staring and lowkey fantasizing about each other from time to time and it culminates at a random house party. everyone's drunk or high or both and Jongho/Yunho have A Moment (idk what it is yet but it's Gay and very fleeting) and everyone starts going home as it's getting later and later. Jongho always sleeps in the Jung's guest room, the one across from Yunho's room, and he heads to bed first.

Jongho leaves his phone or something out on the table and Yunho sees it on his way to retire for the night. he stops into the guest room to return it and sees Jongho jerking off. Yunho is stunned but also immediately turned on (tbh he's been turned on ever since whatever fleeting gay moment they had at the party) and just freezes

and Jongho, Libra man, isn't at all embarrassed or shy. he just sorta looks at Yunho, cocks his head to the side and asks if he'll be joining him.

Yunho, pretty drunk, is braver than usual so he locks the guest room door and the rest is history (and by 'history' I mean 'we have to discuss the details' but I KNOW that it starts with Yunho blowing him)
