❤: Which character do you think is the most egregiously mischaracterized by the fandom?

This is a hard one bc there are truly. So many options. I'm going to go with Ashton, just bc a lot of people who like him don't get him either, and also bc they're the only example where i've seen people accuse the player themself of lying/not understanding the character bc they gave an insight into the characters' thought process that directly contradicted their interpretation. shout out to Imogen, Liliana, and Orym especially though

Callow/moore lol. even before shardgate I was already of the opinion that, once you got past the chaos flirting, their personalities and damage would actually clash pretty badly in any real relationship. so

💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?

since I answered for Ashton above i'll throw this one to Imogen, although that is also difficult. bc also no one understands her. but the idea that she has ever been at serious risk for willingly joining the Vanguard and Predathos is insane. it was deeply unlikely in ep 49, and it only becomes more unlikely as time goes on to the point of feeling near impossible now.

#a lot of americans think bwing anti imperialist means only being critical of their own country#and unironically calling it propaganda and problematic when other emperialistic nations are critisized#like they learned about the issue with their own country but instead of actually unpacking it they just went 'america bad'#and are now just easily convinced to support equally bad nations#at best they'll extend it to 'the west bad' but they still refuse to acknowledge countries outside of that can be monstrous as well#and so they end up diminishing the pain of foreign people because defending foreign government is to them the progressive thing to do

I would also like to add that often, people like to give politics this dichotomy of "oh, west bad" "oh wait, east bad" when the truth is just that many big countries that were once imperialist - still benefit from all that or, all of them still act in ways that shouldn't be a thing anymore in the current times. and then there are the countries that are still imperialist, but in more sneaky ways. like you said, often many westerners end up diminishing the pain of foreign people just to defend another imperialist country. feels weird every time like wouldn't it be nice if these westerners could be anti-imperialist about these other countries too?

I don’t have any ship that I feel so negatively about that I’d call it a notp. Or at least I haven’t seen anything that elicited such a strong reaction from me. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll have due cause to be a hater.

19. What is the one thing you hate most about your fandom?

I’m not sure it’s a fandom thing so much as it is a me thing but I hate how pushy and invasive people are towards me on here. It’s a very weird and uncomfortable relationship to have with followers on a technically anonymous fan blog and I can’t help but feel like I would be torn apart if people did find out who I was.

I also don’t like how young the fandom is but most fanspaces are so… I just have to suck it up. And luckily(?) Winx’s fandom doesn’t run as young as other fandoms I’ve been in.

26. Most shippable character?

I feel like I see Riven getting passed around a lot but that just might be the people I follow.
