“Dystopia” by Wavy Jone$ prod. by Still
While Schemaposse was still together, I feel like a lot of people didn’t recognize their true greatness, and it wasn’t until after that that everyone got their just appreciation. This is especially the case with me, and how I didn’t initially notice how dope guys like Wavy Jone$ and ItsOkToCry were, but I can now say I’m fully woke. Wavy’s latest EP “Dystopia” is a perfect example of the dark, brooding trap music that he’s so damn good. Be sure to check it out and don’t miss out like I did for so long.

“Demolition EP” by Brennan Savage prod. by John Mello
Cut from the same cloth as Lil Peep, Brennan Savage is one of those hip-hop-influenced singers that are all the rage on Soundcloud right now. If you think about it, the emergence of his particular style makes sense, considering the trajectory towards melody-infused music hip-hop’s been moving towards over the past few years. It was only a matter of time before a singer merged the hip-hop work ethic and style of production, with an alternative/R&B approach to vocals to create a hybrid style able to take the scene by storm.

“Ball & Chain” by Wavy Jone$
It’s starting to look like Raider Klan’s got some competition in terms of what underground collective’s got the most successful offspring. Between Wavy Jone$, Lil Peep, Craig Xen, ItsOkToCry, GHOSTEMANE, and JGRXXN, Schemaposse’s certainly no slouch. Wavy Jone$ is one former member I see continuing to climb the ladder too, as “Ball & Chain” is a cohesively put together mixtape with dope flows, features, beats, and lyrics all wrapped into one.

Here’s a Fun Fact:
Mono likes to swim alongside Wavy Jones sometimes and talk to him. Wavy has the wisdom of the ancients behind him but mostly he just talks about neat fish he’s seen or eaten lately.
The ways of the surface skimmers (the ocean creature's term for humanity) are so perplexing to Wavy. They always seem to be fighting amongst themselves and arguing over trivial matters. Life in the ocean is not free of hardships and the fight for survival of course, but everything from the smallest of minnows to the largest of blue whales has an understanding of the delicate balance of their world and their place within it. Most aqauatic life lays vast numbers of eggs, and so they experience the cycle of life at a faster rate. They eat and they are eaten and new life begins to eat and be eaten anew. Even the sea kings, with all their power and exceptionally high intelligence, understand that not even they are exempt from their obligation to feed their fellow water dwellers when the time comes.
It's all a bit much for Mono to wrap her head around, but she think she gets the gist of what Wavy is saying. He sees life simply, and to live good is to eat good.
