Man, I reblogged that article about how the Waymo CEO admitted in a congressional hearing that his company a) is exploiting people overseas, b) has misled his customers to believe their service was fully autonomous and their AI is capable of handling all driving concerns, and c) their service is not actually as good as they have claimed it is for years.
And I've got people coming out of the damn woodwork to Well Actually at me about how Waymo isn't just using people pretending to be AI - all the time. It's only contacts the underpaid nonunionized people overseas when [something that the company has implied or claimed it could handle itself happens], and they won't tell you when, and those people maybe aren't even being exploited but even if they are, technically, Waymo isn't 100% a dangerous scam! So there!! It's all just rage bait! I can use the cool new toy that puts people around me out of a job and exploits strangers and maybe even endangers me without having to give a shit about anyone outside my personal sphere!
Kid, get out of my notes.
I am an AI hater. This is considered rude, but I do not care, because I am a hater.
