Everyone keeps saying ‘Euphoria lost the plot’ and it actually didn’t. They’re all doing what they were going to end up doing.
• Jules is a sugar baby, no surprise considering what she was doing with grown men in season one.
• Cassie stole Maddy’s future as Nate’s wife.
• Maddy is still poor but working for a ‘glamorous’ company because she is a go-getter, without a college degree.
• Lexi is in the tv industry, because she had that whole play.
• If Kat was still in the show she would still be a cam girl or have an only fans.
• Rue and Faye running drugs because they’re both addicts who both gravitate towards drug dealers, Rue with Fez and Faye with her ex boyfriend and now she’s with Wayne.
Unfortunately, the plot is not lost, it’s just what direction they were going since the beginning. What they were doing in high school affected their future. Some of the characters are different than they were in high school but that’s also normal.
