There are so little dad!sicheng posts in the web overall I sincerely thank you for this blog! The requests are open right? If so, maybe one where the wayv guys talk and reminisce about the first time they visited the hospital to see the little one?

Father!WAYV reminiscing the moment when they saw their little one for the first time

Kun

“I was with my wife inside the delivery room.” the happiness was evident to Father!Kun’s eyes when he said those words in front of the camera.

“I was standing there, watching our baby cried. I don’t know what to do. And then after a minute, I just saw myself sobbing. I am gripping my wife’s hand and then I look at her. We are both crying our eyes out.” He look at somewhere no particular like he’s reminiscing the scene that was forever etched in his mind and heart.

“She’s very intelligent and she also showed a sign that she will be independent as his dad” he was proud to announced that with a big smile in his face.

“We have a beautiful daughter and I couldn’t ask for more.”

Ten

“They call me ‘The Most Patient Dad’ because I am never annoyed when I hear my daughter crying. That Instead, I am smiling at her but disciplined her in a calm way.” He was smiling at the camera, happy to talk about his princess.

“My daughter didn’t cried when she first got out from her mummy’s womb.” He said and there’s a mixture of sadness and fear evident in his voice.

“I do have a lot of fears but at that moment, I swear, that fear I felt thinking that I will never hear her cries, it can kill me.” Ten was quiet for a while, thinking about her daughter and smiled for himself thinking that her daughter was probably playing with her mom and waiting for him to come home.

“My daughter is very mischievous. So creative and as smart as a monkey. I even taught that maybe God punished me and gave me a child like Yangyang because we’re always bickering.” The member laughs and Yangyang protested. Ten said that he’s just kidding and he also said that he love his daughter very much.

“I will be the most patient Dad for her if that’s what makes her alive.”

Sicheng

“My mom once told me that it’s normal for the parents to cry whenever they first saw their first child be born.”

“My wife is a calm but strong person and who always put me first, even my emotional health before hers. Even when she was at labor, she maintained her calmness and I am the one whos nearly crying. But when we heard our son crying, I was sobbing so hard and she was crying too.”

Winwin is a Father who didn’t set his eyes off from his son and wherever the nurses brought the baby, he was always there making sure that no one will get him aways from him. He whispered a promise to his wife that she already carried their little bee inside her for 9 months. Now that he’s outside in this world, he will do anything to protect him.

“I can say that a man grew up intelligent, strong, and know what he want and what he can do, was raised by a mother who’s unique like my wife. I disciplined him but my wife, she’s the reason why our son have so much respect to everyone especially to women. All I can say is that my son will have a high standards when it comes to finding a partner. That’s what he got from me, we only settle for someone like y/n” he laughed at his statement. He was always proud of his wife and son and happy for his growing family.

“I will be the father who will raise my child who have a good heart.”

Lucas

“ My daughter & wife was the only one who can make me calm.” Yukhei was grinning at the camera. He was excited to talk about his little family.

“My fans see me as someone who can do it all but the truth is I don’t know anything about outside of that. When my wife told me that she’s going to gave birth, I got everything that she needed before going to hospital. But I ended up going alone and left her in our house.” The staff all laughed at his story and he scratched his head with a shy smile on his lips.

“She’s so friendly that I am scared. It feels like someday, I am going to punch a man’s face because they got near of her. I mean, I can’t blame them. My daughter is beautiful like my wife and as playful as me and that’s a very dangerous combination. I am also happy that she’s a daddy’s girl. It was easy to my part to protect her.” He was proud that he’s the favorite of his daughter.

“They are the reason why I work hard everyday.”

Xiaojun

“She’s the most beautiful creature I’ve ever saw aside from y/n, I couldn’t believe that she have the part on me and my wife.” Xiaojun explain using his hand gestures. A galaxy full of starts was evident to his eyes.

“She’s well behave and shy. But she always have this smile that will melt your heart. She rarely disobey us and when she do, you couldn’t help but to forgive her because it feels like you’re mad to an angel.” He told the staff and the wayv members behind the camera agreed with him. They met his daughter and she really have the shy-angelic beauty that made them soft inside.

“I will punch anyone who will court her—“

“She’s the bride to be of my son. Wait for 18 years.” Hendery shouted behind the camera.

“NO. I WILL END YOU!”

Hendery

“The fist time I saw my little boy, cradled by my wife, I couldn’t speak and just stared at him for like an hour.” Hendery spoke, his eyes got bigger, hand gesturing the size of his newborn son.

“He have this tiny toes and toenails. His fingers wrapped around my pinky finger and I cried. The nurses shushed me because I almost woke all of the other babies there. He’s quiet, he seems cold and distant but when you know him more, his heart is as soft as rice cake. One time he saw me sniffing because it’s cold, he thought that I am crying so he gave me his favorite juice and said it comforted him when he’s sad. Oh my god I am crying.” He said and he almost cried but stopped by the WayV members behind the camera.

“We will going to raise him as someone who can find happiness in all things but can also help everyone because he have a good heart.”

Yangyang

“I admit it. I cried. Not because of fear that my wife couldn’t do it. I am 100% sure she can, but I cried because the nurses told me that my son need a skinship from his father. They want to put the baby on my chest and he’s so small and fragile I am afraid to break him so I cried and everybody was laughing at me instead of crying for happiness for my baby.” Yangyang could stop talking about his experience as a first time father.

“My son is talkative and at the short span of time, he learned how to talk and I couldn’t believe that me and my wife fought that Mummy or Daddy will be his first word but no, it was Binu, our neighbor’s dog! But aside from that, he have my smile and my adventurous personality so my wife was so stressed to us.” He laugh imagining the times when his wife was almost crying because of him and his little Yangyang.

“ Sometimes, the members visited us and they all cradled my baby, I saw how experienced and expert they are, I almost respect them” he jokingly said and he received complaints from his members behind the camera.

“That moment, I promise to myself that I will do anything for my son. That I can also be a good father and husband as my bandmates. I will beat them as the best dad in WayV. Yes, I am referring to you, Chittapon”

DAD!Sicheng with his son, Sian

how to say “I love you”

“PAPA!” Sicheng stopped hanging the baby clothes and he immediately got inside to check why his son called him. When he’s in the living room, he furrowed his eyebrows when he didn’t saw where his son was, not until he heard soft sobbing. He found him sitting at the corner of the living room, between the couch and the wall.

“What are you doing here, little bee?” He sit in front of him to match his level, but still much taller than his little one. His lips was quivering, his cheeks are rossy, and his eyes are glossy with tears. Sicheng could help but to think of what his close friends, family and even what were his fans told him, “Sian is little Sicheng.” He got most of his features from him, even his little quirks. Sometimes, you told him that when he’s aways, Sian exhibits a lot of mannerism like what he has. Even his little sneez, Sian got it.

“Tigeu, museowo” Sicheng furrowed his eyebrows on what his son said. Sian couldn't still speak words withe letter 'r'. He knew that his son is growing up hearing at least four language, Chinese, his mother tongue which what he want his son to understand for his parents; Wenzhounes, your mother tongue & English. Sometimes, Lucas taught your son to speak Cantonese but Sicheng said ‘the last job that I’ve imagined for Lucas, even in my wildest dream, was for him to be a teacher. I don’t want my son to speak like he have an identity crisis’ and now you only allowed Hendery to taught Sian to speak Cantonese. The korean members, especially Jaehyun & Taeyong teach him some korean, and because your family were currently staying in Korea, your son speak a handful of korean.

Despite of these language that Sian can speak, he couldn’t understand what he was saying. Tiger? Scary?

“meow~” Sicheng looked at his back and he saw a white cat outside the window. He processed what his son was saying and then he looked at him again, laughing at his innocence.

“Don’t be scared, little bee.” he stroked his son’s head to calm him down. Oh god, he’s so cute. It seemed to work and when he stopped crying, cheeks still red, he crawl towards him and grab his shirt. Sian hold his little body with his little hands on his father’s shoulders and squished his cheeks at the side of his neck.

Sicheng held his son’s little body softly and lift him up to show him the white cat.

“Those are cat, Sian. They are smaller than tigers.” He held his little arms and pointed at the cat whose looking at them. The cat tilted its head while Sian’s eyes were as wide as the cat's.

“Hutong, Papa?” Sian looked at Sicheng and held his father’s cheeks using his little fingers. Sicheng smiled at his son and nodded his head. Sian have a sharp memory. The last time he saw Hutong was one year ago, and Sian cried the whole time. Sicheng think that they can adopt a cat but when he saw how Sian got so scared of cats, he change his mind. They never mentioned Hutong since then but he was surprised that Sian remembered Hutong.

Sicheng continued to do the household chores and Sian followed him wherever he goes. He even put him inside the laundry basket of clothes when he was hanging the clothes. Sian was scared of vacuum cleaner so Sicheng couldn’t help but to laugh at him.

They are now eating their afternoon snacks when Sichen was taken a back at what his son said.

“D-did you just said ‘i love you’ in wenzhounese?” He couldn’t believe in what he heard. His son spoke wenzhounese! Out of all the language he was learning, his mother tongue was the hardest for him. But now, he couldn’t believe he finally did it!

Sian smiled at him and repeatedly said it. Winwin’s heart was full of love so he kissed his pink cheeks that made Sian chuckled. Sicheng spoke ‘i love you’ back to his son and he continued to teach him basic words while they are eating.

Sicheng couldn’t wait to tell you all of these. Probably would make him cry later.
