Marketing Statement

You may or may not have noticed a change in this project - most notably in the Tumblr, but also the Discord Server and AO3. We wanted to explain a few things about why these changes have happened, and where we want to go from here. This project grew very large, very quickly, with new members joining rapidly, members coming and going faster than could be kept up with, and an original founding team which was passionate but was not prepared for the level of organization this project needed. Many members, including department and organizational heads have left due to other time commitments and creative differences. There was a divide over what the rewrite should and should not feature, and whether a strict schedule should be a priority or a more free and lenient style should be approached. We want to be clear that no one has left the project on bad terms, and we welcome other rewrite groups - we do not promote ourselves as the only rewrite or the best team, and do not permit, let alone encourage, hate or fighting with members within this group or other Supernatural rewrite groups which exist. Going forward, we are starting the rewrite from the beginning, hopefully cementing our plan and plot for the rewrite before beginning writing, and having a looser schedule for creation to prevent our members from burning out. We welcome all new members - no matter how much or little they wish to contribute, whether you just want to vote on plot ideas or you want to write dozens of episodes. We do require all members who join understand a few ground rules - this rewrite is intended to be a Canon Destiel rewrite, and we do not tolerate hate of any kind - either personal attacks or attacks on the ideas, suggestions etc. of other members.  As we have more information we will be posting it, and we will keep everyone updated. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or ideas you have for us!

Wayward Road is a short story game that takes place in the universe of Superstition. It has both a canon and non-canon route. If you choose the canon route, then it takes place after the events of Episode Nine: Life Without Parole and before Episode Eleven: Highway to Hell.

“The night of Halloween is upon the Superstition gang! On their way to a costume party, they find themselves on a road that doesn’t exist, with no idea of how to get back. And it would seem that the spirits of Halloween wish to keep them there, forever.”

Features: • Three romance routes + a non-romantic route. • A bonus romance scene if circumstances are met. • Choose a Halloween costume to whoop spirit butt in. • Choose a canon or non-canon playthrough.

So you've been answering all of my old asks (and there's a lot of them) so I figured I'd give you a new one!

I think I mentioned it before, but I kinda left the spn Fandom and made way for the transformers Fandom. (I'll still be here for you guys don't worry) but if you dig a little bit, you'll find a very common trend in the IDW publishing comics. And that is crossovers. There are so m a n y. Back the the future, g.i. Joe, star trek, Ghostbusters and a few more I can't think of right now. But what if they had a crossover with supernatural? It would depend on what continuity but every single one would be fun. [If you thought that spn was complicated and full of plot holes, you've never seen tf lore. It's worse than fnaf. The commercials are sometimes canon which is a night mare in of itself. Why does Megatron know what figgy pudding is??? What] Imagine one of the autobots scanning the impala as a vehicle mode. Shockwave and ratchet being fascinated by a "human" that is powerful or is an "outlier" (per idw lore, again, everything is confusing) I just think it would be a neat idea. Especially since transformers media is a roulette wheel of quality, much like supernatural itself. (I'm serious, you can go from heart wrenching relationships [canon gays!] That are beautifully written to bumblebee doing an exercise video.)

But that sounds like such a cool crossover! We have like a list it might be too long a list but we don't need to talk about that of various crossovers we want to do eventually and maybe there would be an interest to do a transformers crossover? OK maybe a high chance looking at the chat lmao If not tho you should defo tag us if you do anything like that as it sounds really interesting!!

It has recently come to our attention that some of our team members are receiving hate, both anonymously and in their DMs. Please do not go to them because they're having fun on this project. If you have a problem, take it up with @yourfinalbow or through the official Tumblr. Attacking or sending hate is both rude and childish, espcially when that member is a minor. We are trying to keep this a fun and positive enviorment, and the people receiving hate are finding it legitimately upsetting. So please grow up and be professional.

Why do you think the side characters who appeared in at most four or five episodes out of 327 DESERVE an arc of their own?

We want to make a disclaimer that the point of this project isn’t to hate on Supernatural. We’re doing this because we really enjoy and love this show, which can be seen from just how many hours we’re putting in to it, but we recognize that there are some things that fans would have wanted to see, that they simply didn’t get to. If you don’t like our take, you don’t have to read it. It’s just like any fanfiction. You scroll through Ao3 without leaving hate comments, so you can do the same with us. (That doesn’t mean we don’t want to hear your thoughts and opinions. We’re open to ideas, because we want to write what the fandom, the part that’s actually invested and is going to read it, wants.)

We also want to make the point that the views of our team members, Supernatural related or not, aren’t a true reflection on the project itself. Thank you for reading, and we appreciate all the support we’ve gotten over the past few days! Stay tuned for more content.
