Its Sam Winchester's birthday!! That means birthday headcanons for lawboy!!!!

-Sam really wasn't expecting anything for his birthday. Not really anyways. Maybe a quick "happy birthday" from dean, or a quick birthday kiss from Eileen. What he wasn't expecting, was for his brother to turn off the lights in the bunker. He opened the door and made his way into the main area to turn the lights back on. When he does, he finds his brother and cas holding a happy birthday sign, jack blowing on a noise maker, Eileen holding a beautiful birthday cake, and jody, donna, and the girls all in party hats. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM!!!" He almost teared up on the spot, since he was never expecting a surprise birthday party, much less everyone to show up.

-Dean had baked the cake from scratch, even though he argued that pie is better, and used a bunch of organic ingredients to appease his brother. Alex helped to decorate and decided to write his name and a happy birthday message in perfect script. Sam was over the moon. (He was less happy about the moose antlers though.)

-After cake, presents were given. Dean got him a bunch of classic novels that he'd never gotten the chance to read. Jody and Donna got him a wood carving set he'd been curious about the last time he was in Sioux falls. The girls got him and assortment of knives and a long sword that dated back to the 1700's. Cas ended up giving him a small pendant with a small black feather hanging down from it. He explained that in heaven, angels would sometimes melt down metals to create pendants with their feathers to give to their closest brothers-in-arms. Sam loved it and reached over to hug his best friend, and apparantly brother-in-arms.

-As for fun and entertainment, Sam decided on true crime and cryptid hunting shows, to both debate and make fun of. This is also how Jack introduced everyone to Buzzfeed: unsolved for the first time. Everyone ended up loving it and quoting it as the night went on. Unfortunately "hey there demons, it's me, ya boi" has now permanently entered Jack's vocabulary, but Sam can deal with that if he still gets to watch the show.

Marketing Statement

You may or may not have noticed a change in this project - most notably in the Tumblr, but also the Discord Server and AO3. We wanted to explain a few things about why these changes have happened, and where we want to go from here. This project grew very large, very quickly, with new members joining rapidly, members coming and going faster than could be kept up with, and an original founding team which was passionate but was not prepared for the level of organization this project needed. Many members, including department and organizational heads have left due to other time commitments and creative differences. There was a divide over what the rewrite should and should not feature, and whether a strict schedule should be a priority or a more free and lenient style should be approached. We want to be clear that no one has left the project on bad terms, and we welcome other rewrite groups - we do not promote ourselves as the only rewrite or the best team, and do not permit, let alone encourage, hate or fighting with members within this group or other Supernatural rewrite groups which exist. Going forward, we are starting the rewrite from the beginning, hopefully cementing our plan and plot for the rewrite before beginning writing, and having a looser schedule for creation to prevent our members from burning out. We welcome all new members - no matter how much or little they wish to contribute, whether you just want to vote on plot ideas or you want to write dozens of episodes. We do require all members who join understand a few ground rules - this rewrite is intended to be a Canon Destiel rewrite, and we do not tolerate hate of any kind - either personal attacks or attacks on the ideas, suggestions etc. of other members.  As we have more information we will be posting it, and we will keep everyone updated. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or ideas you have for us!

i just wanna say a quick thank you to everyone who was on my GISHWHES team this year, it really was the best year and i’m so glad i got to participate. i can’t wait to see what’s in store for the years to come and to keep being crazy with you guys. stay weird :)

heyy so i started this thing a while ago but there’s still a last part to the lebanon headcanons (like i sent this, but tumblr has been shit with my asks, ask outro they know all about it)

PART 4 OF THE LEBANON HEADCANONS

Contrary to Sam and Cas, Dean doesn’t really have a project in Lebanon. He just hangs out. He’s handling their post, he’s doing the groceries, he’s ordering car parts at the repair shop cause he’s tinkering on all those old cars in the bunker. And the people in Lebanon just know him. Some know him as Cas’ boyfriend (an assumption they made even before Dean and Cas were together), some know him as Sam’s brother, some know him as Jack’s… dad? Guardian? Uncle? No one’s really sure. And then some just know him as the dude with the Impala. He’s frequenting the diner, where he’s exchanging pie recipes with the cook. He’s renting movies every week and is sometimes even found checking out a book at the library (this happens more often than you’d think). Sometimes he helps out Cas, sometimes he hangs out with Jack, Stacy, Max and Eliot. He doesn’t need to have a project, he’s just part of the town. He’s just there

Hey! Sorry that we never got around to reply it was in our ask box I was literally just talking about it on the vc and then this message came through so I figured I'd respond to this one instead! Sorry for the late response!

Also Dean just being that guy that nobody really knows what he does exactly or who he is exactly but they know he's there and they know that he likes pie and books and cars and his family is great I love that for him, he just gets to be a normal person to this town just someone who everyone's like 'oh, Dean? the one who hangs out at the diner?' is great I love that for him tbh
