I can’t say everything cause the story has only just started and we’re only 2 sessions in, but I can at least give a basic run down of the who, what, and where of the setting!
So, the game takes place in the Florida Everglades and focuses on three clans; RidgeClan, BirchClan and BogClan! Here’s a map of the territories:
The players characters are Bubbleshine of RidgeClan (played by @goldenflowersupportteam ), Beetlebriar of BogClan (played by @youngpettyqueen ) and Minkpaw of BirchClan (played by @spiderleap ). The story starts out with the three receiving an eerie dream and a prophecy to boot!
“A winter will fall upon the clans. Only Heart, Cunning and Valor will hearken a new spring. An Owl’s song will herald their victory and the night will return the stars to the sky.”
They all got this dream the morning before the Gathering and would eventually all meet each other under the light of the full moon to varying degrees of success. The Gathering went about as smoothly as you would have guessed, Icestar, leader of BogClan, had some choice words for Stormstar of RidgeClan, but that was nothing new. Tigerstar minds his business, so he managed to avoid getting involved in an argument. it looked a bit like this:
So, the Gathering ended and then the half moon comes to pass!
There have been growing border tensions between BogClan and their neighbors, tho its mostly with RidgeClan that they’ve been clashing with. Borders keep getting shuffled around and tested and its boiling over.
Meanwhile, Minkpaw and Rosemoon head to StarClan’s Maw to meet with the other medicine cats! (Timberwhisper and Owlpaw, and Wormwoodsong and Lightningpaw!) all was going well! until Minkpaw slipped into his vision.... it was beautiful and strange, but it was beyond StarClan. at least he wasn’t alone! Beetlebriar and Bubbleshine were there with him. They were presented with some spirits: A stoat, a Lunar moth and a Sturgeon, all of which beckoned them to follow them into the bright light of what appeared to be the sun. which presented them with these beings only known as The Beacons:
Each had a gift to give the young cats to help them in the times to come. They also had glimpses into moments in the distant past, with cats they did not recognize, but felt a kinship with:
They group all woke the next morning and shared what they saw with their leaders and medicine cats. The medicine cats agreed to meet again the next day to discuss what they should do next, but it seemed that plan was doomed to fail. However, Minkpaw was approached by Owlpaw, BogClan’s medicine cat apprentice(pictured below) asked if they could meet beforehand at the Gathering Place with all the cats who had the dreams. He had something he wanted to discuss more privately. He left it at that.
In RidgeClan, a hunting patrol was sent out with Bubbleshine in its party. They stumbled upon a small patrol of BogClan cats a good ways over the border and with a good haul of fresh-kill. So naturally, a brawl started. There was one casualty: A BogClan tom by the name of Toadwish(he’s pictured here with his mate Hophawk):
Bubbleshine was the one to do him in, sadly, and it was then that everyone realized there was going to be trouble with BogClan in the near future. Beetlebriar was going to see the immediate ripples of the revelation that one of Icestar’s warriors were dead. The leader herself went to go and retrieve his body. Threats were shared at the border, and it was more than just venom that was spit, it was a promise.
And that’s where we left off!

Sorry for not posting much recently! I've been having a mix of Artist block and just taking a break, but im trying to get back into drawing! I thought it would be fun to make a mock character sheet for the mercs using the @unofficial-warriors-dnd system, so here is Firecrackle!
Hey you!
Yes, you!
Have you ever wanted to play D&D, pathfinder, fate, or any other type of roleplaying game,
But with CATS?
Well, surprise! You now got your wish! This blog is dedicated to making a new warrior cat D&D game that functions very similarly to the previously mentioned systems!
"But wait!" I hear you say, while im typing this very post, "Why should we follow you? Why not use the Official warriors adventure game?"
Well, my oddly timed friend, there are many reasons! Firstly, the official Warriors adventure game is not even close to the normal D&D experience, and feels odd to use at times. With this system, it's much more easier to learn, and quicker to get started! Secondly, this system will be updated regularly! If there's anything that seems unbalanced or any features you feel like would be a great addition, theres a little 'Ask' and 'Submit' button you can do so through! Anon will always be on, so ask away!
"Well, what about the other people who have tried? Many of those blogs are dead or inactive, why should we get our hopes up?"
For starters, that is mighty pessimistic of you, friend! But, to reassure you that this is for real:
BOOM! Look at that!
Here in these very pages lies the secrets of the universe (the rulebook), with all you need to know about how to play!
Yes, that is right! The system is already completed! You are 100% able to go right this very second and play right now! Please know though, this is only the first copy of the system. Balance issues are most likely a thing, and i really do ask that if you encounter anything like this, send an ask our way so it can be fixed.
So if you are interested in this game, and any future versions, add ons, or campaign settings (yes, we are planning on making those!!!) that may be made later on, please follow us, and reblog this post so more can know and play!
Happy gaming!
I want to play warrior cats dnd so bad. Like so bad. I’ve seen like 3 posts about podcasts or dnd games with warrior cats and bitch I YEARN. Those two things separately are 90% of my being please let me mash them together
Concerning the star plot, have most starclan cats been turned into star fragments and sent to earth? Have some fragments gone to different planets or moons?
As far as we the players know:
The star fragments have only fallen on earth.
The stars are being hit out of the sky by a tormented soul who we have only just met that goes by Pines, who, for unknown reasons, was sent prematurely to the place where starclan cats go when they fade away.
Starclan is physically breaking, with patches of the world literally torn apart, leaving holes in starclan.
