William yawned, rubbing his eyes as he woke up from an unexpected nap. Bringing his wirst up to his face to look at the time from his watch, his eyes widen noticing the time it was. “Fuck!” He yelled out, getting himself off from the sofa. He had made dinner plans with Annabelle and he was already an hour late. Lucky for him, he was already ready, but with thirty minutes he had to spare, he ended up falling asleep. Arriving to the restaurant, he looked around the building and his eyes meeting with her. Walking over to the table, he stood in front of his chair and awkardly smiled. “Hey, love...”

People were cruel. It was a fact of life. However, in this case, it was because of one’s cruelty that the masses staring and  jeering were being so harsh. Wren had heard the rumors, seen the news, however she was so far removed from the people at her University that she walked the halls utterly  unnoticed until she saw a group of guys heading for the boy their attention was focused on. Watching with cautious green eyes, the blonde wasn’t sure if she should do something or wait to see if anything happened. Still, she could just barely see the boy through the crowd around him and she chewed her lip anxiously.

“Sorry, I was completely zoned out. Did you say something to me?” The blonde looked up with a blank look on her delicate features, a stack  of books sprawled out on the library table. Her brow furrowed as a wave of nausea overwhelmed her from the sudden movement and she blinked, trying  her best to be accommodating despite the desperate need of a nap.

"Can't believe I was dragged to this." William scoffed, as he walked inside the ballroom that was filled with lots of important people as him and his family. He had been dragged to this important party by his parents. Of course, William was old enough to make his own decisions but his parents had begged him to attend, mainly because a lot of people, apparently, wanted to see him. Awkward to say, he knew no one in the party and he had to pretend he did for certain people, which was slightly embarrassing.
