WORLD DYSLEXIA AWARENESS DAY 4TH OCTOBER

It is a widely accepted headcanon within The 100 that John Murphy has dyslexia. This stems from the scene above involving Murphy, Mbege and Wells. There are more than a handful of fanfictions and posts circulating about this theory, and as it’s so important to the fandom, murphamy-week have decided to promote it!

On the 4th of October we are encouraging you to write fanfictions or make posts (Murphy-centric, but naturally we are biased towards Murphy/Bellamy) in order to raise awareness. Check all the hyperlinks for some information about dyslexia, and we hope to see some brilliant content posted on October 4th. Tag your post with murphamy week and murphy wdad to get reblogged. To all readers of my work, particularly Where Days Are Dark...

Good day, everyone! So, as you know, I have not posted a chapter of Where Days Are Dark (or really, any fanfiction) in quite some time. With college and everything else, it has been tough to focus on posting my writing here, and so I feel it is time that I made a decision that is both hopeful and saddening.

I am going to pull most of my fanfiction offline. BUT I am looking to have it published in some form.

The audience for Where Days Are Dark and my others is so fantastic and touching, but it has also dwindled over the past couple of years, as has my inspiration to post writing here without too much feedback and with such a huge break between chapters. I feel that my time here as a tumblr fanfiction author has come to a good end point, and I should seek alternative means to get these stories out there.

I want these stories to live on and reach people not only on this website. I want to turn Where Days Are Dark into a complete novel (or two) that is more original, more whimsical, and more of a retelling of Norse Loki and Sigyn/Johanna, while keeping the heart of it and its characters stark and true. I do not look to erase anything, but I also want to turn these stories into something more. They matter so much to me, and I feel it would be best for me and for the emotion I have put into these works to share them with a broader audience.

If I do have my works published, I will contact you, so PLEASE message me your email or other contact info so that I can keep you updated! I already have the list of people who asked me to update them on new chapters, but I would like to have other forms of contact if anything arises. I am certainly not deleting my account, but I feel it is best for me if I pull my work and rework them into my life in a fresh way.
