One Piece: Gyojin Tou-hen Opening Video || Opening Theme Song Performed by Straw Hat Pirates

It's a nice touch that the Straw Hat Seiyuus performed the opening theme song. This is not a new thing but what I really appreciate about them performing the theme song is how in character they are when singing the lyrics. It's not just their actual seiyuu voice that's showing but the personality of the characters themselves. We often encounter seiyuus performing the opening or ending themes but what I really love about One Piece seiyuus is they sing as their characters. Am I making sense?? lol. I especially love Tanaka Mayumi's intro. The first time I heard it, what came to mind is "Oh, that's Luffy right there singing." And I can say the same thing for the other seiyuus. And Chopper!! Ootani Kue really did a great job!! I couldn't stop listening to it repeatedly! I just wish their version had a full version of the song. Would really love to listen to it nonstop!!

2019

This year Was.... A year.

I got to meet my favorite Band last January (Machine Head) and got them to sign my knee brace. I got to dress up as Chim for Halloween, something I've wanted to do for SO long. Ive made so much progress with Chim and James, too. Last year was so devastating to my creative flow but he's grown so much from then! There's so much richness to him now I'm so happy. My art is improving, steadily but getting there. I wonder where I'll be this time next year! .

But with that comes the negative . I went through losses. It was painful but honestly a blessing in disguise, now that I'm past the pain. I've also grown closer to the ones that have stuck with/by me and supported me and I'm eternally grateful forever and eager to see what 2019 has for us all. I love those who are still with me and to those who aren't... I hope you heal, learn and grow in 2019.
