         baz is the sort of man that thrives off a certain sort of chaos, and he’s certainly not afraid to admit it. perhaps that’s why he’s been divorced and landed himself in one of the most obscure careers one could get themselves into. comedy is not something for the average joe, he’s quickly found out. sure, he’s bombed, but it’s especially entertaining to see your regular ole schmutz waltz onto the stage thinking he owns the place, only to have his ass handed to him by an unenthusiastic audience. he supposes he’s the schmutz in this situation, in vanessa’s house. but still, he thrives off the sort of environment, walking out front of her parents place for a quick smoke break. “you know,” he says, lighting it up, offering one to her. “i think i’m growing on your dad.”
