You know the type of friendship between guys that's so deep and strong and trusting that, when Guy 1 is confronted with a too aggressive/clingy/not-taking-a-hint Girl, Guy 2 jumps in to the rescue and they pretend they're gay to ward her off?

Nino waits for Adrien to get out of classes and head over to eat lunch together, until he notices the blond cornered against the wall by none other than Lila.
Adrien sends him a panicked look, trying to pacify the overly affectionate girl who couldn't understand for 3 whole years how utterly disinterested he was in her.
Nino smiles and walks over.
"My dude!" Nino wraps an arm around Adrien's shoulders, pressing into his side just a little too closely to be considered entirely friendly.
Lila froze at the scene, clearing her throat. "Excuse me but you're interrupting my time with my boyfriend!"
Nino's brow is arched high and he grins down at Lila. "Boyfriend? Gee, I wonder how he can be your boyfriend if he's already mine?" with a large grin, Nino planted a big kiss on the side of Adrien's cheek, making him laugh and blush.
Sometimes, Nino marveled at the acting talent his best friend had, he could really pass as literally anyone.
Lila stomped her foot, wide eyes nervously glancing towards the blond model. "A-Adrien is- is that true? You're-"
Adrien smirked and wrapped an arm around Nino's waist, kissing his friend's forehead sweetly. "Yup! Didn't you know? I thought you did, we've been together since...hmm..was it 3 or 4 years now?"
Nino pretended to think. "Really? That short? I always think we've been together since forever." the words in this context may not be truthful, but they were ever as true concerning their friendship.
They felt like they've been friends since diaper days.
Lila growled, glaring at them both. "Argh! I don't believe this!" before she's stomping away.
After making sure the Italian is out of sight, the boys relax and Adrien playfully nudges Nino's side. "Thanks for the save man, I thought I would starve if Lila kept me here for recess."
Nino snorted in laughter, adjusting his hat and meeting Adrien's fist with his own lightly. "That's what bros are for, right?"
Adrien grinned and they laughed, adjusting their bags to head over to the cafeteria.

Marinette and Alya stood side by side leaning against the wall, the whole scene between their boyfriends and Lila not being lost on them.
"Looks like our boyfriends ditched us, huh girl?" Alya's playful inquiry made the designer laugh.
"Looks like it. It was only a matter of time when they would leave us for each-other." she sighed dramatically, giggling when their phones buzzed with a flurry of messages, from Nino and Adrien, saying how they loved them.
"Well, we still have each-other, right girl?" Alya wrapped an arm around her own best friend, a wide teasing grin on her lips, reminiscent of a fox.
Marinette smiled and together, the two entered the cafeteria, nearly attacked by their two boyfriends, apologies and sweet nothings spilling from their lips when they realized their girlfriend's have watched their earlier display.
"Alya, I swear it was just to save Adrien! I can't leave my bro behind!"
"Marinette it's not what you think! Nino and I are just best friends!"
The girls smirked.
Nino and Adrien nodded proudly. "We get it guys, it's broes before-"
Almost immediately, Adrien and Nino were upon them with rushed comments of indignation.
"How can you say that?! It's not like that at all!"
"You guys aren't that horrible word! That's so uncool, dude!"
"Yeah, you are our princesses!"
Alya and Marinette had to laugh, soothing their boyfriends and telling them it was all a joke.
They never minded pretending to be gay if it meant saving them from Lila.
