I think Nona's recurring dream is the Pool Scene, from Harrow's perspective, but that doesn't tell us anything about who the soul inside Nona is, or used to be. Gideon had access to Harrow's memories when she was in her body, if she went looking for them, and Harrow's soul sank through the memory of the Pool Scene in the River to reach wherever it ended up. It might be that Nona's dream is Harrow's subconcious bleeding through her connection to her body.

Or what if Nona's recurring dream isn't a repeating memory at all? She might be going somewhere every night
