It wasn't as if Shinobu had anyone to answer to, otherwise, and the night was promising to be more frigid than usual considering the impending turning of the seasons within weeks.

Wow!! rude! so what if she was completely nail-on-the-head accurate— just because she’s right doesn’t mean she has to say it!

I started watching ATLA again and I was just struck by the fact that Iroh is literally a Fire Nation General. He’s been in the thick of the war and knows very well how to fight so technically he could have whooped the Gaang’s ass a million times over if he wanted to he just never did because he’s a respectable man with good morals!! Also look me in the eye and tell me that Iroh would beat up a couple of kids. Come on. You know he wouldn’t. But he is fully capable of handing their asses to them on a platter and we all know it

Do you think Connie is the real hero of Steven universe? Because she was the one who saved him from the darkness (even tho the darkness is still there), and when Connie saw Steven’s “cry for help” he gave his warning to her. What do you think?

There are a lot of heroes in SU. The thing is, Steven is the one who saved so many people. He’s the one who first saved his family, then went on to save his friends, the Diamonds, and eventually, the entire galaxy. He brought Pearl and Amethyst after years of fighting with each other, he helped Garnet learn how to love expressing herself (though maybe not directly), he helped Connie break out of her shell- of “bubble,” if you will- and open up. He helped save Lapis, befriend Peridot, and so so so much more.

Connie is absolutely amazing, but I don’t think she was the hero- she was Steven’s hero. She was always by his side, she always had his back, she always stood up for him, and in his moment where he was at his lowest low, she stepped up and made all the dumb adults in the room realize that YES, you’re the problem, but SHUT UP ABOUT IT AND HELP HIM. She was absolutely an MVP, especially in IAMM, but she doesn’t really do this for any of the other characters, just Steven.

You could argue that together they are both heroes, which I can back, but Connie is not the one who changed White’s mind. She’s not the one who dismantled the Gempire (though I don’t doubt she played a role in helping Steven do so).

Tl;dr Connie is amazing, but Steven is the hero here. Connie is Steven’s hero. Stan both of them for clear skin.
