Me: *Standing in the candy shop I work in, which opened 30 minutes ago, literally doing nothing of use, just reading on my phone*

Family of 4: *Walks by, but one stops at the open sign*

Them: Hey, look, it's a candy shop.

Me: *takes out my earbuds to hear and talk to the when they get inside*

The dad: Are they open?

The littlest kid: Let me check! *presses his face against the glass doors which are tinted*

Me: *Waves awkwardly when he sees me*

Him: They're open!

The dad: No, it says they open at 10:00, let's go.

Me: *watching them all walk away*

Me, quietly to the EMPTY candy shop: It's 10:30???

It's been a long stretch of having disappeared but I've been living in the sewers- HA! I wish DX

But for real, I'm trying to get back into the writing game now

I just need to keep in mind that there are no such things as deadlines and that the only person putting pressure on myself is me. This is useful for those of you writers who also get into the slumpies, look after yourselves <3
