I dunno. It just feels like it was in poor taste. Our fandom is hurt and broken after 2 years of cancellations, delays, and bad news... but I'm not a fan of pranks to begin with, so, grain of salt...
Supplemental: I hid behind a curtain for six hours watching as Tim, Sasha, Martin, and Elias went about their days as usual. Tim went into a coffee shop and bought something, can't tell what from this distance. Sasha went for a fifteen minute walk. Elias brought some financers in for a discussion that lasted approximately three hours. Martin bought a loaf of bread. Clearly, they're plotting to kill me.
Drew Jonathan Sims :). Season 2. We love our crazy wet rag man with his still healing worm scars :)

With all the talk of Hollywood going through a lull with fewer productions being done in LA and moving to other countries to film, is it getting harder to keep celebs relevant? With the exception of "Sinners," it seems like even major celebs and movies are struggling to engage their audiences.
Disclaimer: I do very little work within the film industry (and the mod who does is not currently active on Tumblr.)
Being physically present in a media hub isn't essential to earning press.
The way audiences engage with media has evolved for sure, and beyond factors like streaming and theater costs and accessibility: there's SO MUCH more ground to cover when promoting absolutely anything. Modern marketing is all about authentic storytelling, micro influencing, and connecting with super targeted audiences.
Like there was a time you could mass produce cardboard displays, throw a banger of a premiere with a few red carpet stunts and call it a day. The outlets that mattered came to you...sexy photoshoot optional.
Now you gotta hit up "diverse channels" (14 podcasts, drop 7 merch collabs, book at least one baby animal interview, chicken wings on each side of the Atlantic, PC anecdotes for the late night circuit, a 4 hour GRWM for a 1 hour event, screenings with micro influencers present, code switch at least three different directions on camera and in print, give a spontaneous tour of your NYC apartment, comment on current events in a way that's both informed and pragmatic.)
But because no one really trusts celebrities or mainstream media in today's climate, you can do all that and still no one is going to watch the thing if eWOM (electronic word of mouth) isn't happening independent of promotional efforts. I have sat through a gazillion conferences, summits, consults and panels with PR pros who have claimed to figure out how to do both, but. Here we are. 🌞
the new episode...
freud would have loved it i guess 🤠
This is the sectional cut off (aka the minimum required score in each section of the exam to pass) for the IPMAT Indore 2023....the difference between General category and the rest is insane. Not to mention the reservation.
Yes, casteism exists in India. But it's probably not how the rest of the world is made to believe.
The IPMAT is just an example. This happens EVERYWHERE and I AM SO TIRED OF THIS.
What does the average day look like for you all?
7:00 wake up
7:10 try (and fail) to convince myself that is going to be a quiet day
8:00 school starts
8:01 chaos starts
8:02 try to prevent spread of chaos
8:03 fail to prevent spread of chaos
8:04 give up
13:00 lunch break
16:00 school ends
16:20 arrive home, contemplate life choices
22:30 plan to go to bed
02:00 realize I've been up four hours too late, actually go to bed
