As a lesbian, I hated HOTD promo campaign and criticised Olivia for her queerphishing. I think the same could be said about Emma, who(as far as I know) is in a relationship with a man and has never been in a romantic relationship with a woman.
I expressed my disgust with their rhaneicent photoshoots and was attacked by Olivia stans who called me misogynistic and homophobic. Ironically, when Olivia was asked about thes awful photoshoots and the critique, she proudly announced she cared about the gays, the lesbians and their opinions.
First, I’m sorry those idiots piled onto you, anon. “Misogynist” and “homophobe” are the only weapons they have because there is no coherent defense for this mess. So they resort to moral blackmail like petulant children.
And C&H knew exactly what they were doing. Rhaenicent functions as a convenient shield against criticism, because whenever someone points out the rotten writing, the fandom can simply accuse them of prejudice instead of addressing the argument.
