So I Heard You Like Pranks || Leon and Frey

Maybe it wasn't very smart to be walking around alone so late in the evening, but man, it wasn't fair at all. The fact that a girl like her had to be cautious about these kinds of things was ridiculous! Hmph- Frey would play no part in "playing it safe," -- she didn't care, she would do whatever she wanted to. 

... At least, that's what she normally would say. Today, however, was different, and she could not help but regret going out instead of staying within the confines of the castle -- stuffy, what with five people and a large dragon living in the place, but safe from shady men. Like the one eyeing her right now, as if she were a piece of property to be bought.

He was short, with dark sideburns and a stocky build, and Frey had seen him way too many times during her evening stroll. Their first few run-ins she hadn't noticed at all; the fifth one she thought was a mere coincidence; but eleven times? Really?

She supposed she should have realized it sooner, what with his habit of smacking his lips and running his hands through his greasy, slicked back hair every time she walked past him. Alas, she had been too unassuming, and it seemed as if the man had been gaining confidence with each passing minute of her failing to give him any sort of sign that he was unwanted. Before, he had made sure to maintain a safe distance away from her. Now, however? He was leaning against the wall on the left of the castle's door as she was standing next to Eliza.

It wasn't so much the creep-vibes  he was emitting that was bothering her -- oh no, Frey had zero doubt that she could defend herself if he tried something gutsy. It was more of the fact that she didn't want to have to do anything to him. If she ever harmed one of the travelers, surely there would be wild rumors spread about a violent princess in Selphia. It'd drive tourists away, cause the town to lose a huge source of its income, and it would be all her fault. Sure, she could easily retire for the day -- a quick fix to the dilemma -- but the problem was she didn't want to. She wanted to get some fresh air, and resolved that she would stay out for as long as she pleased, despite being under the watchful eye of this stranger. She'd just have to make sure that the situation wouldn't go that far, find a way to avoid him somehow...

Suddenly, the solution to her problem came down the stairs, his tail swishing to and fro. Frey's eyes flickered towards the direction of the movement, smiling in relief as she saw who it was.

Leon. 

She had never been more glad to see the man (well, besides the time she had found him for the first time in Leon Karnek), and she quickly bounded over to him, greeting him with an overzealous wave.

"Ah- Leon! How good it is to see you.~ Are you out for a walk? Mind if I join you?"

There was really no point in asking; Frey supposed she just did out of nicety. If it meant getting rid of the creep, she'd tag along with Leon for as long as she could -- even if he said no.

Perfect Strangers [Leon & Marian]

[looking at the sheet she'd been given from the event coordinators that listed the teams...since no one in Zephyr Town was participating, she had agreed to be assigned to a team randomly] [Toby was an acquaintance, so thankfully at least one of her teammates wasn't a total stranger but Leon...?  She wasn't familiar with this person, hadn't even heard of the name from any of her new friends in other towns] [Arriving at the grounds, it seemed a few of the teams had already arrived as well.  She didn't see Toby anywhere yet, but out of the few solo participants who were there, not with any other persons, was a tall man with long silvery-blue hair and what appeared to be a hat with fuzzy ears - how interesting]   [glancing around before approaching him, but seeing no other lone males, so deciding to take a chance, walking up to him]  Hi!  You're here for the Tomato Festival too, right?  I'm hoping you're Leon?
