Merry weanmass
I am not well thought of today
For years I had gradually weaned him from that drug mania which had threatened once to check his remarkable career.

Have you ever heard of a weaning cabin? 'Weaning Cabins' were secluded structures built to wean newlywed couples away from their mountain families. These small cabins were usually built by large families in western North Carolina and parts of the Appalachian Mountains. This Appalachian tradition provided a small cabin near the family's main cabin that was used as a temporary home until the couple gained more independence and were ready to begin building their own homestead and start their own families.
This cabin is now located on the property of the Kernersville Museum in Kernersville, N.C.

I think it's amazing that we can tell how long ancient Roman babies nursed by analysing at their teeth.
