Tapestry: There's a special magic in the air at Christmas Time.
Tapestry: It's probably just the burning glow of the demonstone as the Solstice draws near and the barrier to our world grows thinner.
Tapestry: Doesn't mean we can't drink hot chocolate until we puke.
Tapestry: Did you know that in Tarek's absence, my word counts as his word unless he contradicts me? Curio says the legal term is "Proxy Decisis." Daigo says the legal term is, "fuck you, I'm the law."
Tapestry: It's kinda MUGgy out.
Tarek: If I look outside and all our coffee mugs are on the lawn, I'm divorcing you.
Tapestry: *Sips coffee from bowl*
It's a funny thing, ambition... It can lead one to sublime heights, or harrowing depths... And sometimes they are one in the same.
Tapestry
I see everything. I see forever. And right now I see a man walking a tightrope over a sea of blood and filth. The Empress is dead, and the water's rising. You'd better hurry. You're running out of rope.
Tapestry
Oracle here. Nice to meet you. If anyone tries to capture me, I'll incinerate their brain.
Tapestry
"What are your feelings on deerhorn knives?" Tapestry currently looks the part of a fine dignified lady, a proper wife to Sir Al-Amir rather than the sort of person who would be asking about weapons. Her black dress has gold-colored embroidery, her hair is loose, and she's wearing a full-face of makeup that suggests that the forge was just a last stop after a day of more 'proper' pursuits.
Liath straightened himself, silently chastizing himself for leaving the forge in a relative mess.
“My apologies, Lady Tapestry, for the current disarray of the shop,” he began as he made his way to the weapons lockers, fumbling around before uncovering a selection of finely polished deerhorn blade blanks, holes drilled for addition of scales, and the faintest hint of a bevel along the blade edges. He scooped them up and made his way back to Tapestry, arranging them by size and coloration before her on the display table. “Deerhorn knives are ideal for the wandering soul, without being bound by conventional laws of combat. Easy to hack and slash at close range, but great skill would be needed to deflect attacks. Are you interested in placing an order, then, or had you other intentions?”
