was asked about the celebi’s relationship with gold so here’s a quick spark notes version:
gold and hibiki are not the same person, this was an important factor in the original version of the au
- strangled red and door’s open + lost silver events take place before hgss & timeskip
however the celebi that appears in LS gets reincarnated into the current one in hgss (it also has all of its past memories as well)
