This little lady was SUPER EXCITED about having breakfast for dinner tonight. Originally, Eliana had wanted to make more cookies today for #WeCookWednesday but she changed her mind when she realized that french toast was a sweet treat she could have for dinner. She's a clever one, my Little Lady. We practiced her egg-cracking skills together and I helped her measure the milk while she poured it into the cup. But other than that, she made most of this recipe by herself. Then she gobbled up two slices and almost a whole cup of yogurt dip. Kindergarten makes for a hungry girl! Yesterday was #WeCookWednesday and Eliana chose to make banana bread. We had only one very ripe banana so I halved our original recipe and we made half a batch of Banana Bread Muffins instead of a loaf of bread. I can't tell you how happy it makes me that Eliana and I have been reclaiming Wednesdays and cooking something together that she chooses. This little lady impresses me so much every day but watching her in the kitchen just amazes me. Using some new tools she got from @curiouschef and @kidscookmonday she measured, leveled, whisked and stirred like a pro.
