Congratulations to Greet Minnen - she married her partner Marie Diels in July 2025. The couple have been together for two years. She announced her engagement to Diels on Instagram in 2024, saying:
“Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Minnen is a professional tennis player from Belgium. She currently has a ranking of No. 83 in the world in singles, and a career high of No. 45 in doubles. Minnen came out to the public in 2018. She is one of only a handful of openly lesbian players currently active in the WTA. Minnen appeared at both the French Open and Wimbledon in 2025.
Minnen has been outspoken on LGBT issues and condemns cyberbullying aimed at gay athletes.
