Learn more about their big day beneath the break...
Initially, I wasn't going to hold off on posting this because, unlike C/E, they don't have a base story in canon, and I haven't written their backstory as much as I would wish I had yet. That said, I don't have E/C written up to their wedding, and I posted this template for that pairing, and we know I HC T/C getting married too, so, why not? You won't know the "detaily details" until I write the fics, but this is a preview. Thanks again to @jamespotterthefirst for these amazing templates... even if this is for Toe-bias lol :)
Since their wedding was small, they also wanted a small bridal party.
Casey's fellow dolphin, Sienna, was her maid of honor. Jackie and Aurora were bridesmaids.
Tobias and Ethan had reestablished a close bond, so he was a natural for best man. But T had also established a decent bromance with Bryce, so they asked him to officiate the wedding.
Tobias did not plan on having any other attendants, but Casey insisted on it. "I'm not going to have people thinking my husband-to-be has no friends." The problem was, prior to Casey, he didn't only avoid relationships, he close friends friendships wasn't his forte either. Ethan and Bryce were his only two close male friends.
But there he did have two women that he considered close friends, Kerry and Sasha. Both were actually exes. (More on his exes here.) Kerry was back in HS, and Sasha when he first came started at Kenmore.
Kerry's family and Tobias's were were old friends, she and T had known each other from childhood. It seemed natural to begin dating, but both realized it was too serious (and there was too much familial pressure) for such a young age. They moved easily back to being friends (because it wasn't love to begin with).
Sasha was the closest thing he ever had to a real relationship. They dated for one year when he first moved to Boston, and they were really into each other. But it ended when he realized he didn't want to be in a relationship with anyone. They both worked at Kenmore and, at first, she ignored him; but in time they reestablished a friendship and were fairly close.
Both women were elated when he finally "grew up" and had real feelings for someone. They counseled him frequently after he fell for, screwed things up, was friend-zoned, and then tried for a second chance with Casey. They both credit themselves for getting him to the altar in the first place.
Still, he felt odd asking them. Casey was like... "Why?" She loved them, they loved her and Casey wasn't for stupid gender roles, so Tobias asked them (even Vivian approved).
They got engaged in August and their wedding took place in late October. (Yes, in the same year.)
Because of the quick turnaround, they planned on getting married at city hall and having dinner for closer friends and family after.
Sienna, Vivian (T's mom), and Rose (C's mom) got wind of this and were not having it. They approached the couple who explained they'd love something more, but they didn't have the time to plan it and, besides, the important thing was the marriage, not the wedding.
The Three Muskateers wouldn't have it. T&C gave their blessing for them to plan their dream wedding, with their input of course. (T insisted they let him pay for everything, but in the end, Vivian, David & Rose paid for it all, save the honeymoon and rings.)
Casey always wanted an autumn wedding, so the color scheme and flowers were filled with the rust and amber shades of the season.
She selected a simple off-white gown with lace appliques off the rack at a local bridal shop. No fuss, no muss was her motto throughout. Tobias was more of a diva than she was.
One thing they insisted on is that the wedding take place in Boston, the city they loved. City Winery was selected for the venue, at was a slightly rustic/chic setting in the heart of Boston. Vivian hired a planner that really HOOKED the place up.
Their rings were traditional classics, a 2-carat solitaire from Tiffany's for Casey, and simple, matching platinum wedding bands for both of them.
Because things were so last minute, they weren't going to have a honeymoon at all, but Ethan gave them 5-days off ("It's better having you two out of my hair anyway."), so they went to Newport, RI for a short visit. The following year, Tobias surprised her with a trip to the Maldives as a belated honeymoon.
Their wedding was very romantic and sentimental, it wasn't surprising given their relationship, but it was surprising because they were both such class clowns. But after the ceremony was over, the reception was full of fun and surprises befitting the two.
They only invited 75 of their closest friends and family, so it was a very warm, comfortable feeling, exactly what they wanted.
They were all over each other, but everyone who knew them came to expect that. There may have been some good-natured ribbing over it, but they would have been shocked with anything less.
Their first dance was to John Legends "All of Me" and Tobias dedicated The Commodore's "Three Times a Lady" to Casey during the later part of the reception telling a very sweet story before they danced to it (sorry, wait for the fic lol).
The dress was off-white, Casey loved it and felt it matched the fall theme better.
While she believed a suit would suffice for their relaxed affair, the fashionista of the family (T) wouldn't hear of it, so he got a tux as did his best man.
I'd say they "winged-it" simply because it was all put together in the span of 2-months and they were both pretty blase about selections. What was important was the marriage, not the wedding, was their motto. However, The Three Muskateers DEFINATELY did a lot of planning.
The Ceremony took place on the venue's outdoor patio, but the majority of the event was held inside the venue. (BTW, the outside of the actual venue is ... meh... so I HC a totally different outdoor space)
The couple loves a wide variety of musical genres, so they insisted on a DJ so everything could be represented.
The bridal party and parents were in formal attire, but guests were told to dress semi-formal for the event.
If Lil'Bleaters in a lovely flower crown for the wedding, don't you think Eskel would be in a matching flower crown? He loves his Goat so much, matching would be fun
Oh, fuck, I was not prepared for that. Oh god, who do I choose?? I thought I would only be able to choose between Adam and Slater but since I didn’t like the latter, I thought I had an easy choice, but apparently I can choose Bianca!? girl I thought MC had the best chemistry with, Bianca!?
But I don’t wanna ditch Adam :( No 😭 this is the worst case scenario 😭😭😭
