I headcanoned that in a Sleeping Beauty modern AU, Phillip would always vote for the opposite party that his father vote only to make him angry and to tease him (yeah, it’s a bit childish), because he thinks it’s funny (not in a mean way, obviously, he still loves his father, he just want to make him laugh and to annoy him a bit).
Speaking of Aurora, I think that on occasions like this she wouldn’t know whether to laugh or try to make peace between the two (because Phillip would keep giggling, while Hubert is scolding him)... and, unfortunately for her, situations like this happen very often, because I think that even though Phillip and Hubert don’t want to admit it (they would never do it, lol), in reality, they are very similar to each other, they have the same level of stubbornness
