I chanced upon these hairy caterpillars on my run a few days ago. There were a whole bunch of them - like fifteen. It just made me think about transformation and ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’. 🤓 They were all moving upwards on the stalks (?) of grass they were on, almost like they were moving towards their eventual transformation in space (moving upwards) and time (moving closer to the pupa phase). It was funny because I was jogging and my attention was immediately drawn towards it. The above was the meaning I drew from it. Change requires time and effort. This is at Newlands Forest after the rains. The element of water denotes intuition, spirituality, compassion, dreaming and the subconscious amongst other things.
