tbh Reina n Sieg look like they’d be “good friends”

Like they’d spend their breaks together, Reina mostly talking n complaining abt everything (since no one ever LISTENS) n Sieg sometimes gives advice when he’s not also joining in bc dude has it rough with the double-jobs and King bullying him aight. N they’re just chill with each other bc they can talk abt anything. Reina just gets that Sieg’s secretly the b*tching type n he’s the closest to a gal pal she could have in the organisation (and Sieg tends to  befriend girls more anyway)

Reina just otherwise flirts with him bc instinct lmao

But also I think they’d be the professional type. For instance, Reina following King’s orders upon Sieg’s betrayal; she didn’t try to negotiate or anything with him and just (kind of) stealthily did him in. Though, this would most likely be influenced from her past, since she places utmost loyalty to King. We’re also not really informed on how close Reina and King actually are – for all we know, they sometimes have chats too lol – but we could consider the possibility of Reina being the only other person to know the truth about Sieg and yet for the entirety of their time as workmates she decides to act normally with him instead. To me, she behaves quite like Sieg in that sense. I don’t really know how to describe it, but…Y’know when Sieg meets Elie again, and instead of settling it straight away he actually approaches her with more or less a conversation (although it was hard to tell whether he was completely sincere about it)? It’s like he has instances of being a genuine person – or being able to act like one, at least –  and then without warning he’s the mage-assassin there to kill you. But well, this is all also just speculation ahahah plsbereal TTvTT

Adding to the theory of Saya and Diva’s mother...

Nathan himself stated that he was the late Queen’s Chevalier; if this is true, why was the Chiropteran bearing Saya and Diva left unguarded? According to the lore it is undisputable that Saya and Diva are indeed the only one of their kind (Queens)...

Someone on Tumblr (darn, I didn’t save their post) theorized that it may have been a ‘crisis case’ in which a different Chiropteran would be selected to bear the twin children. This would align with the fact that there was no guardian with the creature at the time of her discovery.

Even so, the heirs were left behind. Was it also not the Chevalier’s duty to protect them, as part of their service to the Queen? Surely newborn Queens couldn’t be expected to be left to their own until the day they are able to elect their own Chevaliers?

It could even be that the Chiropteran discovered was in fact the other late Queen, who may have been on the losing end of the predestined battle, with no Chevaliers by her side and hence dying prematurely before being able to properly deliver her children. (However, if Nathan meant that he was exactly Saya and Diva’s mother’s Chevalier, then this would not be the case, unless if he had undisclosed reasons to abandon his Queen to such an extent. Nate, y u no tell??)
