Hey, cult survivor here (WWCG)

If a religious org comes at you with something that appeals to you, you should consider it with the same scrutiny you would if it was offered by Coca-Cola.

If Coke showed up and told you that drinking Pepsi would curse you an endless torment beyond death, and that drinking Coke would make you live forever in pleasure, you'd be skeptical to say the least.

I'm a cult survivor. WWCG. They feed on your hate and fear when it helps them. They feed on your love and hope when it helps them. They will use your emotional biases and needs against you.

That's what hippie free-love weed Jesus is. A cartoon mascot to sell Christian authoritarianism to the love and hope demographic instead of the hate and fear demographic. But it is there to serve the exact same purpose as "Pokemon is a world of the demonic," "the gays/transgenders are coming for you," and "God plays favorites we're those favorites!"

There's no point in wasting the time debating just how left-leaning or right-leaning a shadow puppet is. It isn't there. The people casting it on the wall are.

Please, listen to my lived experience when I say that when the house of cards falls, they'll "see the light", change their denomination and keep on rolling. No apology, no justice, no Jesus, (stoner or otherwise), anywhere to be seen.

And absolutely no refunds.
