37 Marijuana Overdose Deaths in Colorado: HOAX!

Was this one really a surprise?

When the retail marijuana law came into effect in Colorado on January 1st, there was plenty of speculation about how (and even if) it could work. And that's when a satirical website came in and made all of the nay-sayers go bonkers.

The article in question stated that 37 people died on January 1, 2014 due to marijuana overdose, with more fatalities expected over the next few weeks. The Daily Currant quoted fake doctors saying that hospitals were in utter chaos.

And people believed it.

This overdose death toll rumor is completely false. Stay classy, Colorado.

When I was younger..I found out..the hard way that with the right combination of factors you can overdose on cannabis. Being someone with low latent inhibition (the best way I can describe it is..it feels like your high...all. the. time. A constant barrage of shapes, colors, ideas, sounds etc.) you can use low grade cannabis in paltry amounts and still reel from its effects. If you introduce high grade cannabis (which I've only had once in my life and that experience is one of the main factors which lead me to decide to quit) The amount of barrages increase 1000 fold. Its like a blitzkrieg hits you a million times a second. I realized on that day that any type of hallucinogen cannot be used in conjunction with LLI because in relation to the normal person...your constantly hallucinating anyways. So it is possible...
