Have more of an open mind with your cinema. Some of the best films on the planet are the ones that remind us that people are shitty.
Except I already said the reason I didn't like it was because of boring, stiff writing and more than a few plot holes. If the rest was great + it was a grim movie, I would not be complaining about how grim it was.
As a good friend put it,
"I expect this to be another humorless exercise in tired Nolanisms. Dead women, husky batman voice, and overly dramatic crowds of people who fear for their lives but never get harmed."
Just because I don't like the newest Batman movie doesn't mean I don't have an open mind for cinema.
