In a rockslide, the mountain-dwelling Moth Colony was nearly completely destroyed. The only living cats, Cloud and Weed (full names being Cloudclaw and Weedpaw) were left deserted.

Cloud and Weed attempted to settle into a new normal but quickly failed, getting into a huge argued over what they should do.

“Everyone around us is dead.” Weed started, staring at her paws.

“I’m aware. Eat your vole.” Cloud snapped back.

“I-I ffucking hate vole, Cloud.” Weed retorted, not so cleverly.

“Language. You know Foam wouldn’t like that. Voles also the last piece of prey we have.”

“I don’t care about what Foam would think! Foam’s dead! Like everyone else!” Weed hissed, then continued; “we need food-”

“Oh yeah whose fault is that? I haven’t eaten since the rockfall. Kits these days are so ungratefu-”

“Oh, shut up, Cloud. You know who hunted this vole? Me.”

“With Sea’s help-” Cloud replied, cut off by Weed lunging at him.

[ Cloud and Weed shared prey. Positive effect. ]

[ Cloud and Weed got into a huge argument. Negative effect. ]
