5, 8, 45, 74, 77 for the ask game!!
Thanks for the ask! 💜
5. have you ever made a playlist about something you were writing as an elaborate means to procrastinate when you could have been actually writing and if yes drop a link, son
Very rarely. If I actively go looking for music to listen to while I write that usually means I'm drunk lol
8. what’s your relationship with constructive criticism and feedback like? do you seek it out? how well do you take it?
Pretty good I think. I can usually recognize whether a specific piece of criticism is useful to me or not, so taking it to heart or dismissing it is a rather unemotional affair. (that doesn't mean I don't squeal and yodel when I get nice comments on my fics <3 )
Also depends a bit on how the feedback is delivered – if someone chooses to be an ass about it I will just choose to fully ignore it
45. name three of your favorite fanfic writers.
aaaahhh this is so tough to choose, there are so many writers that I absolutely ADORE <3 But I'll read anything by @angstgods , @melliebae and @rotary-wing no questions asked.
(only I don't because I have the attention span of a fruit fly atm so reading isn't really happening a whole lot which fucking sucks :/ )
74. are you a planner, pantser, or planster?
Pantser and Plantser. Too much planning ruins the fun for me. The more I plan, the less likely it is that I'll actually write it.
77. how do you write kissing scenes?
Kissing scenes are tough, man. I just try and focus on the emotions/vibe/sensations and somehow make it sound appealing. I find it hard to make them unique, which may be because of how freaking many kissing scenes I've written in my time lol, at this point everything sounds repetitive. If I'm dissatisfied with any part of a story I wrote, chances are it's a freaking kissing scene 😂
