DANI: Listen, I'mma need you to come fuck me senseless asap because I'm way too stressed right now.
DANI: I hate being stressed.
DANI: So when are you free, earliest would be great because I'm about to break something out of frustration and I'd rather put that energy to better use.
The girl had been sad about her ice cream situation, she’d gotten it as a pick me up only to be let down by it melting, but luckily she was surrounded by amazing people who were more than generous. So that led her here, sandal clad feet padding down the hallway of their building until she’d found Tristan’s place and knocked a couple of times. The raven haired girl didn’t know all that much about him, other than he was related to Sebastian and seemingly cared a lot about him, so she was excited to get to know him a little bit better.

To say she was stressed and fed up would be an understatement. One bad thing after the next led her mind wandering and ultimately putting her in a funk, and Dani hated that. So what better way than to distract herself than contacting someone she knew could make her forget what was going on with a nice, hard fuck? After slipping on a lacy royal blue lingerie set, she slipped a simple large concert t-shirt on that skimmed to her thighs, and made her way to his door. Knocking twice, she bounced on her toes as she took her short wavy locks down from the pony tail it had been in, nibbling on her bottom lip as she waited.

Lost.
Dani ultimately felt lost, and things where never good when she got overwhelmed. It all had started last week, on Mother’s Day for her family, and ever since then things just started to spiral. The conversation still replayed in her head and while she knew her Abuela meant well, it broke her heart to know she was even suffering or in any type of pain. And she felt selfish for wanting her to not go anywhere, but the idea of losing the older woman who shaped her into who she was today was a lot to handle.
“Cariño, te ves tan hermosa cuando te vi el mes pasado. gracias por visitarme.” Her grandmother’s voice was rough, worn from all the years of yelling and laughing with her family, but still kind in it’s words as she spoke to her youngest granddaughter.
“Gracias, gracias, pero volveré antes de que sepas, puedo ayudarte a plantar algunas flores contigo como solíamos hacerlo.” Dani told her, her voice full of hope as she plopped down on the edge of her bed, staring at her feet as she pursed her lips together before she heard her grandmother’s laugh. Not as full and strong as it used to be, even followed back some harsh coughs that she knew had to hurt.
“Tal vez te mire, siempre fuiste mejor plantando que yo. además, alguien tiene que hacerse cargo del jardín cuando yo ya no esté.” The older woman explained, but the words were like a time frame, and Dani knew that time frame was starting to reach it’s end. So she swallowed harshly and rolled her shoulders back as she shook her head, trying to control her emotions so she didn’t alert her grandmother but it was as if she could read her mind because before she knew it, she spoke again, “Ahora no te pongas triste, Daniella, puedo ver que fruncir el ceño desde aquí. quiero que seas feliz.”
With a sigh, she nodded slowly, “Estoy feliz, solo no quiero que te vayas..” Maybe she wasn’t entirely happy, but that wasn’t the point. She meant it, she didn’t want her to go anywhere, and it hurt because it was inevitable.
“Nunca te dejaré, mija, siempre estaré a tu lado.“
Her grandmother’s words were softer now, and kept replaying in her head as she sat in her room now. It was Friday, the end of the week, and Dani just felt hopelessly worn down. One thing happened after the other, having her wonder if maybe she did something to bring on all this bad karma. She was a good person, or tried to be ever since she spent a large chunk of her life being what many girl’s called ‘a raging bitch’.
Having her sister come back was nice and at the same time, a lot of stress. Dani had built up her career, her face was pretty well known after the four years she’d been busting her ass to make a name for herself. Dani Danger was a brand, a well known brand, and now all the sudden a twin had appeared. She kept Dallas out of her life when it came to her job, not even telling coworkers about her unless they were close, and she’d only been at NDHQ for six months. So the shell shock was a lot, and the amount of cleaning up and explaining she had to do had her in a head spin. Because the reasoning behind keeping her sister out of this life kept hypocritical, and Dani knew that full and well.
The Harper sister weren’t exactly your perfect set of twins, Dani grew her dark side at an early age, drug use was common for her by the time she was fifteen. And Dani, being as addictive as she was, brought her sister into her antics. Using together, partying together, the younger twin felt ultimately reasonable for her sister flying off the rails and being shipped away to escape the toxic environment that was her and the city they lived in. It only made Dani get worse, all the way up until her fight in the night club and her mother flying out to set an ultimatum. Ever since then, she’d gotten her life together, most of her addictions under her control after being diagnosed with her bipolar disorder....she was slowly starting to understand that she was just, well, broken. And that it was okay. So the last thing she wanted was to see her sister struggle and fight to be happy, all Dani wanted was to keep her safe.
Then there was the issues with Sam, which really made her paranoid. It was obvious she had been avoiding the blonde since the last time they saw each other on their usual Wednesdays, her slip up of sleeping over uninvited and waking up tangled up in his strong arms had her beyond nervous. Dani sucked with relationships, her past two were obvious indicators of that, and the last thing she wanted to do was ruin the casual but always fun connection that her and the blonde had shared. So what did she do? Ruin everything, of course. In all honesty, she thought he wouldn’t even notice let alone show up and call her out on her bullshit, but that’s exactly what happened. Leaving her alone, which was the opposite of what she had been intending in giving him space so she wouldn’t suffocate him.
Now, she sat by herself, staring at her phone as she gritted her teeth, thumb scrolling through her phone until it landed on her therapists name. It had been a good few months since she needed to make an appointment, her bipolar issues had been pretty under control, but Julia had mentioned that high levels of stress could cause relapses. And she felt more than stressed at this point.
Glancing at the medicine that made her feel like a zombie, she had one of two choices. Take the pills and feel lifeless or call her therapist for an emergency appointment, which she hated doing because she hated bothering anyone even if it was their job. Groaning, she tossed her phone and ran her palms over her makeup free face before plopping back flat onto the bed. “What the fuck is going on.” She muttered to herself, wishing she had some sort of answer.
