Seeing this week in my rear-view mirror. Headed to @the_bean_bandits 70th anniversary gathering in Vista, CA after stopping by the weekly @donutderelects on Saturday morning. It’s going to be a great day of hot rods, friends and photography. - - This is Dennis Varney’s “Princess of the Dark” shot for the Rolling Bones latest book “GAS-OIL-WATER” which is available now but selling out fast. We were going to photograph this car in the dust of El Mirage immediately following her debut at the 2019 Grad National Roadster Show but with recent rainfall we were unable to make that happen. Instead we shot the series for the book just outside of the El Mirage Dry Lake Bed on a dirt road on this perfectly overcast day in January. Have you ordered your copy yet?
