Published two research posts, one on the inspiration behind Altaluna and Valeriano's relationship (the mythological relationship between Zeus and Metis) and another on the inspiration behind Cucufate's fox form (also related to Metis and, therefore, to Altaluna).

The latter post marks a drastic change in Cucufate's original design; once a monkey, he's now a fox-like creature to better fit the novel's central themes.

Worked on the current draft of Altaluna's Character Profile.

Worked on three major plot points: the moment Valeriano's nephew, Lazaro, confronts him with an ugly truth; the moment Valeriano exiles Lazaro for his impertinence and what this entails for the broader plot; the moment Valeriano confronts his great-niece, Altaluna, with an ugly truth.

Worked on the current draft of The Setting post.

WIP Progress Report- 11/22/19

Hi! This is a weekly (hopefully) post that I’ll be making to update y’all on my writings! I’m doing this especially since I’m not going to post too much of the actual writing from my new WIP, The Road and the Gloved Thief, but I still want to share what I am doing with it, along with any other projects I might come up with.

To begin with this first progress report, I’ve officially hit 100 followers!!! It’s not much, compared to how long I’ve been around, but I’m so happy to have hit a number which really shows, in concrete, that people enjoy what I make. I’m not sure what I’d do for this, since I’ve never really hit a “milestone” before, but if you have any ideas, then please tell me!

Now, about my WIP:

Word Count: 3020 words (from about a month ago to now)

Word Sprints Done: Probably like, 5 or 6

My Feelings Right Now: I’m feeling decent, and I’m excited to start a new WIP, but this beginning is a bit hard, since I know where I want this WIP to go, but to get there??? Idk

Also... I’ve been working on a short story on and off for a bit, where basically it’s just me wishing for love. But, I really like it, and hopefully I’ll finish it soon to post! And, either December or January, I’m planning on doing a writing challenge, so I can post more often!

That’s it for this week, since this is all the cool things that I can come up with right now! But, I hope that I can do lots these next few months, and especially into the new year! See you next week!

-Edit Chapters 34 - 36 of Symphony of the Stars (5 Scenes Total) (this will take me to the end of Book 2) -Finish Writing a Super Secret Side Project Chapter (3,000 / 11,000 words to go) -Edit Said Super Secret Side Project Chapter -Write 1 Writing Prompt Response -Write, Edit and Schedule 1 Blog Post -Do some Twitter upkeep -Social Media Scheduling -Prepare some new key word lists for Amazon Ads -Finalize the promo booking for Island of Lost Forevers for the weekend

*Trying to be a bit more pro-active with marketing this week. We'll see how it goes...

I have no idea how I'm going to wrangle this into submission during edits, considering there's a ton of plot left to add. But I won't be working on it for another couple of months, so there's time to figure that out XD Overall, I’m pretty pleased with how the story turned out and I can’t wait to see what the polished version looks like!

-Edit Chapters 14 - 17 of Symphony of the Stars (finally got the chapter numbers right you guys x.x) -Actually create an outline for Eternity's Empire cuz it turns out I need one -Finish editing Chapter 2 and Edit Chapter 3 of Eternity's Empire (each of these chapters is 10,000 words long) -Write 1 Writing Prompt Response -Write, Edit and Schedule 1 Blog Post -Record 2 Podcast episodes (this one is health dependent *fingers crossed*) -Actually #^$&@ finish the last of my website updates -Book some promos for Island of Lost Forevers for May

Also, big, big important one: Celebrate my husband's birthday on Wednesday <3 Without him, none of what I do would be possible!

-Edit Chapters 20 - 23 of Symphony of the Stars (this is the opening of Book 2) -Edit Chapters 7 - 9 of Eternity's Empire (about 30,000 words total) -Write 2 Writing Prompt Responses -Reformat and re-upload the Mystical Island trilogy with better front matter -Finally book those promos (timeline has been pushed back, obviously) -Do some cover mock-ups for the new Eternity's Empire covers
