Today I checked my Facebook for the first time again in, what was it, two or three weeks?
Nobody missed me.
No one really cared.
Today is his birthday.
I planned I was going to send him a card, wishing him a happy birthday. I had a present for him, but that lies rock bottom somewhere between the garbage.
I am still sending him the card, but it'll prolly arrive too late.
w/e.
Facebook kindly remembered me of the fact that it was his birthday. I haven't spoken to him since, god knows when, I guess Queen's day. But those were only short remarks and responds.
I wouldn't know what to say either.
Part of me wants to talk to him, a part of me wants to stay away from him as far as possible, and a part of me wants to yell and shout at him.
Be on friendly terms.
I wrote on his wall; Happy birthday.
That's it. Happy birthday. No smileys, no special way, just that. Formal, not too friendly either. Perhaps the card will be too much, but everyone deserves a card on his or her birthday.
I didn't expect to get a respond though.
"Thanks" was what I got, and he liked the post.
Sometimes I wonder if I ever cross his mind.
Because he does with me all the time.
